Brenda Sullivan is a freelance artist who lives and works in Louisville. She was raised near the ocean in Rhode Island and received her Studio Art degree from Skidmore College in upstate New York. She has lived in London, Boston, San Francisco, and for the past 30 years, Louisville, with her husband and two sons.  

Brenda has always been fascinated by simplicity of shape and color, helping to draw her toward a career in graphic design. Several years ago, while raising her children, she started designing jewelry in the evenings to fulfill a desire to work more creatively with her hands. She loves playing with different shapes, colors and textures through the media of semi-precious gemstones, leather and mixed metals. She strives to reflect her love of the ocean and the outdoors in the light and balance of her designs.
